Very valuable blog I have!

So I put this blog address into http://www.websiteoutlook.com to find its value. I was expecting ya know like $20 since it is sadly neglected but it popped out with $267.67 Million. HA wouldn't that be nice! Must have been a glitch in their system! lol

My site is worth $267.67 Million.
How much is yours worth?

Embarrasing Shopping...

You know, I really don't like that they have such high shelves in the grocery store! The other day I was shopping and there were some really great sales. Buy 10 of certain items (that were on sale in the first place! woo) and get $5 off. So I was going through picking my 10 items and spotted one that I reeeeealy wanted on the top shelf in the freezer section. Not only was it on the top shelf but many other people wanted that item and so most of it was gone. No problem, theres a couple left waaay up there. I look around, the store is fairly busy but maybe no one will notice if I just step up on the freezer and grab what I want really quick. So I hang on to the door, hop up to grab what I need and bumped the boxes in the next row. Half of them go flying out , making a loud noise as they hit the floor. Sheepishly I step down, try to hide behind my cart and pick up my mess. I quickly zoomed my cart away without my coveted items. A few days later I went back to try to get some which thankfully had been restocked. As I was putting them in my cart, I heard a great crashing noise. I look over as a guy is madly trying to catch a display of large empty water jugs that he had bumped. I just had to giggle and be glad it wasn't me that time!

Here are a couple layouts :)

Redesign!

I'm sure you probably noticed my complete lack of blogging for the last 10 months! Well part of the problem was having my design stuff mixed with personal stuff and it was confusing knowing who I was really writing to. So I have split it and now have 2 blogs. So it will probably end up as me just neglecting 2 blogs insead of one. hehe

I have been participating in a digital scraping race of sorts. It just ended last week. There were 6 weeks with 2 scrapping challenges each week. It was really fun to get in a bunch of scrapping lately! Here are some of my pages:

Challenge was to scrap using favorite colors and about what inspires you:
Challenge was to scrap about yourself and fill at least half the page with journaling:
Challenge was to have an interview with an inanimate object:

Challenge was to write advice to your 16 year old self (but worked well as advice to my girlies!) they also had a list of amounts of certain embellishments/photos/papers to use:

Challenge was to scrap about a memorable trip and use some song lyrics:
Challenge was to scrap using an "altered art" style:
Challenge was to use any kind of wings in your layout:
Here are two other layouts that I have scrapped recently. They weren't for any challenges:

This is ending up way long so I'll go and hopefully be back sooner than 10 months! :)

Wedding and potty training

No we weren't potty training at the wedding thankfully! :)

This last weekend, my cousin Erin got married. It was a beautiful little outdoor wedding! Natalie was one of the flower girls along with her cousin Peyton and they was adorable! I think Nat got a little "stage fright" because I kept have to tell her to sprinkle the flowers! It all went smoothly tho thankfully! We were a little apprehensive after the practice the night before. Especially when Hunter the little "ring bear" (as he called it) was standing with the groomsmen and all of a sudden burst out in tears saying "I can't handle it!" Oh the pressure of wedding rehearsal! Poor little guy! hehe

----
A couple days ago, we ran out of diapers for Natalie so I decided to try her panties and potty training again. I have tried many times with no good results and have been thinking that she would be in diapers forever! Well I guess now is just the right time! She has really taken off with the whole thing and doing great! Wooohoo!!

Photo Editing

I'm excited to say that I have been accepted as a photo editor at ZeroFlaws.com! I applied a few months ago but didn't hear anything so I just pretty much forgot about it. Well I got an email this week saying they have been going through a bunch of changes and now have a steady work flow for my caliber! I am now set up as a level 3 editor (the highest editing level!) and am also helping with a special opportunity with a large client!! I was pretty much blown away! When I was applying, I NEVER expected to be accepted as a level 3 editor and never dreamed of being offered any special opportunities! :) Sometimes it can be frustrating and discouraging if my sales aren't going well with my scrapping designs so it is nice to have my Photoshop work validated a little. :)

My very own font!

*Love* my new font! Go here and get your own made! :)

Here is one of my most recent layouts using not only my new font but a new fun paint/glitter paper pack I am working on!

Journaling: Natalie, usually you are quiet and reserved, especially if you are in a new situation or around new people. There are times though when a little boldness comes out! This is usually in the form of clothes! You love fun, cute clothes
and you LOVE hats or anything you can put on your head. It always makes me smile! Always let your personality shine, whether you are feeling reserved or bold! Always be you and not what others tell you to be! Love ya babe! (All items designed by me)

Losing already!

I am losing already and I am so excited!!! Yep you read that right! heheh

I have lost a whole inch around my waist in only two weeks of half hearted exercise! Some of the designers and Sugarbabes at the Sweet Shoppe have started a little....um.. support group of sorts for getting healthy goals. Some have weight loss goals, some have healthier eating goals, exercise goals, etc. I have been going to start some kind of exercise and healthier eating since January. Since I don't really do new year's resolutions, it just kept getting put off. This group motivation was exactly what I needed!

I have started doing water aerobics 2 times a week. I would love to do more but two days are what is available for babysitting for my girls. I just got 2 DVDs yesterday that I ordered- Pilates beginning mat workout with Ana Caban and Candlelight Yoga with Sara Ivanhoe. I did the Pilates one this morning (with the limited strength modifications- I'm such a wimp) and it was great! Now if I can just stick with it all!

The healthier eating? Well that's not going as well! I really want to do something besides pour a bowl of cold cereal for breakfast and open up a box/can/something frozen for lunch! BUT that takes a little planning a head and getting up off my lazy butt to cook! :) We'll get there eventually!

Life is good! :)
