Long time no post
I didn't realize how long it has been since I last posted!!
I have had a cold the last few days... I HATE being sick! Sore throat, coughing, too much snot..ok maybe too much info! :) I have just wanted to sleep all day, but I have found out that it is harder being sick when you have a little one running around, needing attension! Poor me...
Thankfully, Natalie has been {for the most part} a sweet, happy little helper. I asked her to put away some shoes that she drug out {{what is it with shoes and this girl??}} - after she put thoes away she started picking up all the rest of her toys with out a word from me. I was impressed!! She is just too darn cute (with plenty of orneriness mixed in!). She has finally figured out how to make her "See and Say" work all by herself (you know the toy that you pull the handle and it says "The ROOSTER says COCKADOODLEDOOOOOOOOOO") Well it also plays "Old McDonald had a farm" and she always says EIO EIO EIO- notice it is not eieio!! Did I mention she is adorable?? There are definately frustrating times though!! Lately she has started to say a word over and over and over and over and OVER until we say the word. "Bebe, bebe, bebe, bebe, bebe, BEBE, BEBE, BEBE!!!!!!" "Yes that is a picture of a baby!" "Papa, papa, papa, papa, PAPA, PAPA!!!" "Yes, that was Grandpa's truck that just drove by." This is not too bad until she starts saying a word that I have no clue what it is. Distraction is good in this case!! :)
I did get a nice surprise in the middle being sick! Natalie and I got a PACKAGE in the mail from my GREAT friend Darcy!! Adorable clothes {"dose, dose, dose, DOSE" "Yes Natalie, some new clothes!"} for BOTH of us! Thanks a bunch Darcy! :)
I have REALLY been tired of my clothes lately. I am in the inbetween stage of pregnancy shirtwise- ya know when your regular shirts are a little too tight or short but you feel like you are drowning in maternity shirts?? Pantswise, I have been out of my regular jeans for quite a while! Altho, I dont have any cute maternity pants- do they even MAKE any?? This is also the time when you just KNOW that people are thinking "man, she needs to lose a few pounds in the middle area!" and you just feel like a cow! I think part of it is that I still have to wear warm bulky clothes. {Weather- would you please get warm already??} It wouldn't be near as bad if I was able to wear cute little summery shirts! Thankfully, I am about out of that stage and can wear some more flattering attire soon!
